Full custom is your artwork dye-sublimated across the canopy, valances and peaks included. It carries school colors, a mascot, or a photo in as many colors as the design needs. If a single mark on one solid field is the whole message, that is simply a design choice inside the same full-color print.

Which canopy colors work, and how do matching walls get specified?

Every canopy is printed full color, so the field is not limited to a short list of stock colors. The print can carry the real brand colors across the valance and the peaks. Pick the background so the name is the lightest or the darkest thing on the panel. A mid-tone photo behind mid-tone type fails at a distance even when it looks fine on a phone.

Walls are separate printed pieces on the same 6 oz polyester, with sewn-in velcro loops. A 10x10 full wall is 113 x 78 in and is $385.19. Order the wall art with the canopy art so the colors are specified together. If the canopy is a solid field with a logo, a wall will not automatically become that same solid field unless the notes say so. If the wall should be the solid color plus the same logo, write that in the order notes. If the wall should be a full photo backdrop, say that too. When should you add a back wall to the design?

Skip the wall when the tent is a shade roof over an open table and the valance already carries the name. A wall is a second printed surface. It deserves the same restraint: a large logo or a short headline, not a flyer pasted onto fabric.

A full wall runs much farther down than the valance, so it is the panel people read while they stand at the table. Keep the offer there if you have one, and keep the roof valance for the name. Do not split one sentence across the valance and the wall.

We do not publish a fire rating or a wind rating for the fabric. If the event requires a certificate, contact us before you order. Check that event's fire rules yourself. The fabric is weatherproof polyester. The package listing calls the tent fabric waterproof and UV-resistant. If you want a solid field behind the logo, name that color. If a wall is part of the order, say which side it closes and what belongs on it.

What design mistakes make a canopy hard to read?

Three mistakes make a canopy hard to read from across a lot, and the first is tiny type. A phone number set at the size of a business card line will not read from across a lot. Give that number, or the web address, the height of a headline, and give it one line.

A second mistake is a busy photo used as the whole design. Faces, crowds, and detailed product shots turn to texture at a distance. If a photo matters, use one simple subject on a peak and keep the valance for the name.

A third is low contrast. Yellow type on a white field, gray type on a blue photo, and a thin outlined logo all fail once the tent is in sun. Pick a light mark on a dark panel or a dark mark on a light panel, and check it in the proof at the real shape of the valance, not as a flat rectangle on a laptop.

Also avoid filling every panel with a different idea. The tent is one sign seen from four directions. Repeat the same name. Change the contact line only if one side faces the street and another faces the booth aisle, and still keep both lines short.
