Put the code in your file, or send the listing link with your order, and scan the code on the proof before you approve it. Point the code at the listing, not at a page that makes the reader hunt.

Just sold. Front: just sold, kept as large as the just listed line. Back: who handled the sale, a phone number, and a plain offer to talk about a different house. Do not invent a sale price, a days-on-market figure, or a claim that neighbors call because a house sold. If a number is not one you can document, leave it off.

Farming. Front: the agent and one reason to call, with no single house attached. Back: the phone, the brokerage, and the kind of help you actually offer. This is the piece you repeat. It fails when it tries to be a brochure.

Check your state before you omit a brokerage name, an agent name, or a license number that the state requires on advertising.

The shorter hanger is 3.5 x 8.5 in at $246.09 for 250, and the taller hanger is 4.25 x 11 in at $385.19 for 250.

How Many Should You Print for a Farm Area?

Count the doors you will actually hang, then pick the rung that covers that count. The smallest rung is 250 at $246.09.

There is no response rate in our product facts, and this guide will not invent one. A farm area is a set of doors you choose, not a percent of people who call. If the count is 250 or fewer, order 250 and keep the extras in the car for the next pass. If the count is between 251 and 500, order 500 at $267.49. That is $21.40 more than the 250 price, for twice the pieces. 1,000 of the 3.5 x 8.5 in hangers are $331.69. Do not order 1,000 because a round number looks serious. Order it when you have 1,000 doors you will reach.

Can a Door Hanger Go in the Mailbox?

No. Federal law, 18 U.S.C. 1725, makes it an offense to knowingly put unstamped mailable matter in a mailbox to avoid paying postage, and USPS rules keep anything without postage out of the box.

Hang the piece on the doorknob. A hanger on the knob is generally outside that mailbox statute. City solicitation ordinances, HOA rules, gated-community rules, and a posted refusal still apply, and they are not the same from one street to the next. Check the place you are walking. Approve on a weekday before 12 PM Central and the approval counts that day, so production starts the next business day. After noon, or on a weekend, it counts from the next business day.
