How Do You Choose Yard Sign Stakes?
An 18 x 24 inch coroplast yard sign is $64.99 and does not include a stake. Add wire H-stakes on the product page: standard for most lawns, heavy-duty for firm ground or wind on orders of 10 signs or more. Sign and stake packs include one stake per sign. Printed in the USA the next business day, flat $10 shipping.
Choose the stake by the sign, the ground and how long the sign stays up. A wire H-stake is the standard support for a coroplast yard sign: its two legs slide into the hollow flutes along the bottom edge, the sign rests on the crossbar, and the legs go into the ground. No tools and no holes.
Single yard signs are sold without stakes. On every yard sign page there is an H-stakes row with three choices: none, standard or heavy-duty. Standard stakes suit most lawns. Heavy-duty stakes are for firm ground, windy frontage and signs that stay up for weeks, and they are offered on orders of 10 signs or more. Pick a grade and the stake count fills in at one per sign; change it to any number you need.
If you would rather buy signs and stakes together, the sign and stake packs include one wire H-stake for every sign, and the marketing kits do the same. If you already own stakes, leave the row on none and buy the signs alone.

What Comes With a Sign and Stake Pack?
A sign and stake pack is a set count of coroplast yard signs with a wire H-stake for every sign, priced as one item. You can also switch a pack to No stakes when you are only replacing the printed signs.
| Pack | Sign size | Pack sizes | Stakes | Opening pack with stakes |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Bandit sign and stake pack | 12 x 18 in | 10 to 100 signs | One per sign | $154.99 for 10 |
| Standard sign and stake pack | 18 x 24 in | 10 to 100 signs | One per sign | $174.99 for 10 |
| Square sign and stake pack | 24 x 24 in | 10 to 100 signs | One per sign | $204.99 for 10 |
| Extra large sign and stake pack | 36 x 24 in | 4 to 40 signs | One or two per sign | $181.89 for 4 with 2 stakes each |
Every pack is 4 mm coroplast, UV printed on one side or both, and prints the next business day after proof approval. The standard pack page opens on this order: A 10-sign 18" x 24" double-sided 4mm Coroplast Standard Sign + Stake Pack is $174.99, which is about $17.50 a sign. Artwork prep is $14.99 per item. Printed in the USA the next business day and shipped nationwide, flat $10 shipping to any US address.
The extra large packs come in fours because four 36 x 24 inch signs fit one print sheet. They default to two stakes per sign, which we recommend for that size because a 3 foot wide sign catches more wind.
Standard or Heavy-Duty: Which H-Stake Grade Do You Need?
Standard stakes for most yards, heavy-duty for hard ground, wind and long placements. Both are wire H-stakes that fit the same flutes, so the choice is about how firmly the sign has to hold.
Pick standard when the soil is soft enough to push the legs in by hand, the sign is 12 x 18 or 18 x 24 inches, and it will be up for days or a few weeks. Open houses, weekend promotions and job site signs on watered lawns fit here.
Pick heavy-duty when the ground is dry or packed, the sign faces open wind, or the sign stays up for a full campaign or a long project. A heavier stake bends less when it is pushed into firm soil and holds the sign straighter in a gust. Heavy-duty is available on orders of 10 signs or more, and the product page shows the price of each grade before you check out.
Which Yard Sign Size Should You Choose?
Choose the smallest size that carries your message clearly at the distance people will read it. Bigger signs read from farther away, and they also catch more wind and need firmer support.
| Size and best use | One sign | Support |
|---|---|---|
| 12 x 18 in bandit: directional arrows, many small placements | $64.99 | One standard H-stake |
| 18 x 24 in standard: lawns, job sites, campaigns, open houses | $64.99 | Standard or heavy-duty stake |
| 24 x 24 in square: a large logo or a short bold message | $69.99 | Heavy-duty stake in wind |
| 36 x 24 in extra large: faster roads, large lots, developments | $79.99 | One or two H-stakes |
All four sizes print the next business day after proof approval and ship for a flat $10 per product. A common rule of thumb for lettering is one inch of capital letter height for every 10 feet of reading distance, so the larger panels earn their place where readers are farther away or moving faster.
Why Does Flute Direction Matter?
The flutes are the hollow channels inside corrugated plastic, and the stake legs have to slide into them from the bottom edge. If the flutes run sideways, there is nowhere for the legs to go.
Our standard sizes are cut with the flutes running up and down, so an H-stake fits straight in. A custom coroplast sign wider than 48 inches has horizontal flutes, so it will not take an H-stake from the bottom edge and needs a frame, posts or another support. If you order a custom size coroplast sign, plan the support before you approve the proof.
Never push a stake through the printed face of a sign. It tears the plastic and the sign will lean.

When Should You Use a Frame Instead of a Stake?
Use a frame when the sign must stand straight for weeks, look finished, or hold a rider panel. Real estate listings are the classic case: a frame keeps the sign square to the street from listing to closing.
| Option | What it is | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Real estate frame only | Powder coated steel drop-in frame, no sign | $124.99 |
| Real estate A-frame only | Steel A-frame with a rider clip and flag holder, no sign | $99.99 |
The complete sets add a printed sign. A Real Estate Frame and Sign is $139.99. Artwork prep is $14.99 per item. Printed in the USA the next business day and shipped nationwide, flat $10 shipping to any US address. The A-frame version carries a 24 x 18 inch double-sided sign hung from grommets with zip ties: A 24" x 18" Real Estate A-Frame is $119.99. Artwork prep is $14.99 per item. Printed in the USA the next business day and shipped nationwide, flat $10 shipping to any US address.
A frame is also a good reason to keep a standard sign size. A 24 x 18 inch frame needs a 24 x 18 inch sign, so new listings and reprints drop straight in.

What Should You Check Before Placing Yard Signs?
Check permission, the ground and the sightline before the first stake goes in.
- Permission. Place signs only on property where the owner has said yes, and check local rules on where signs may stand.
- Buried lines. Wire stakes go several inches into the soil. Stay clear of marked utility and irrigation lines.
- Sightlines. Keep signs out of the line of sight at driveways and corners, and off sidewalks.
- Stake count. Count signs and stakes together before you load the car, and bundle them by route.
- Bent stakes. A bent leg leans the sign. Straighten or replace it before reuse.

Frequently Asked Questions
Single yard signs do not. An 18 x 24 inch coroplast yard sign is $64.99 for the sign alone, and wire H-stakes are an add-on row on the product page. Sign and stake packs and marketing kits include one wire H-stake for every sign.
The standard wire H-stake suits most lawns and short placements. The heavy-duty grade is the better pick for firm ground, windy frontage or signs that stay up for weeks. Heavy-duty stakes are offered on orders of 10 signs or more, and the product page shows both prices before you pay.
One wire H-stake holds a 36 x 24 inch sign, but two per sign keep this size straighter in wind, and two per sign is our recommendation. The extra large sign and stake packs, sold in packs of 4 to 40 signs, let you choose one or two stakes per sign.
An H-stake slides into the hollow flutes inside corrugated plastic, so the flutes have to run up and down from the bottom edge. Our standard sizes are cut that way. A custom coroplast sign wider than 48 inches has horizontal flutes and needs a different support.
Yes. The real estate frame and sign holds a 24 x 18 inch double-sided coroplast sign in a steel drop-in frame, and the frame alone is $124.99. Frames suit listings and long placements where a sign should stand straight for weeks.
The 18 x 24 inch standard sign, $64.99, fits most lawns and residential streets. A 12 x 18 inch bandit sign, $64.99, suits many small placements, and a 36 x 24 inch extra large sign, $79.99, reads from faster roads.
