How Much Does a Teardrop Flag Cost?
A Large 11.2 ft teardrop flag kit is $224.69, with the pole, ground stake and carry bag. The kit is $203.29 at 7 ft, $213.99 at 9 ft and $267.49 at 13.5 ft. Printed in the USA the next business day after artwork approval, it ships nationwide for a flat $10 to any US address.
The page opens on the Large 11.2 ft flag and pole kit. The other three heights use the same kit contents and a different price. Every kit figure here is one flag, single sided unless the column says double sided, on the ground stake, with the standard carry bag.
Order it on the teardrop flag page. The cloth is 4 oz flag polyester, printed full color by dye sublimation. The shape is wide across the top and tapers to a point at the ground.
| Height | Printed graphic | Kit, single sided | Kit, double sided | Flag only |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 7 ft | 23.17 x 63.52 in | $203.29 | $320.99 | $149.79 |
| 9 ft | 32.54 x 78.64 in | $213.99 | $342.39 | $149.79 |
| 11.2 ft | 40.38 x 101.63 in | $224.69 | $353.09 | $171.19 |
| 13.5 ft | 44.95 x 140.75 in | $267.49 | $417.29 | $246.09 |
Flag only at 7 ft and at 9 ft is the same $149.79. The kits are not the same price. Flag only is the cloth for a pole set you already own. It does not include a shorter pole at 7 ft and a longer pole at 9 ft, because it includes no pole at all.
Single sided print thru reverse is the same price as the standard single sided print. On the Large 11.2 ft kit that is $224.69 either way. Reverse still prints one face. Use it when the pole sleeve needs to sit on the opposite edge of the art.

What Is in a Teardrop Flag Kit?
The flag and pole kit is four things: the printed flag, a fiberglass and aluminum pole set, a ground stake, and a standard soft carry bag. The stake is an aluminum spike for grass and soft ground, and it swivels in the wind. The bag is a soft case in the kit price. A heavy-duty hard case is the upgrade on the CARRY BAG menu.
On the Large 11.2 ft single sided kit, the hard case in place of the soft bag is $310.29. The shorter kits were not priced here with the hard case, so use that figure only for the Large.
The listed kit weight is the flag with its pole set: 1.14 lb at 7 ft, 1.4 lb at 9 ft, 1.79 lb at 11.2 ft, and 2.43 lb at 13.5 ft. The 7 ft, 9 ft and 11.2 ft poles are 4 pieces. The 13.5 ft pole is 5 pieces. The bag is in every flag and pole kit, whatever the section count. The assembled height is the flag on its pole set standing on the ground stake, so the 7 ft kit stands 7 ft tall on the spike while its printed cloth is 63.52 inches tall.
Flag only leaves the pole, the stake and the bag at home. Buy it when a graphic is faded or the message changed and the hardware is still good. Buying flag only for a first flag leaves you with cloth and nothing to stand it on.
Which Teardrop Flag Size Should I Order?
Pick the height from how far away the reader is, then check the printed width, because the heights do not scale in a straight line.
The 7 ft graphic is only 23.17 inches wide. It belongs tight to a booth, a sidewalk table, or a door, where people are a few steps away. One name and one mark fill it. A sentence does not.
The 9 ft graphic jumps to 32.54 inches wide and 78.64 inches tall. This is the step up when the 7 ft looks short next to a 10 ft tent. The kit is $213.99 single sided, for a flag that is both taller and clearly wider than the 7 ft.
The 11.2 ft graphic is the widest of the four at 40.38 inches, and it is the size the page opens on. Across a parking aisle, the extra width is what makes a short word readable. The assembled height is 11.2 ft on the ground stake.
The 13.5 ft graphic is 44.95 inches wide and 140.75 inches tall. It is the flag for a reader across a lot or above a row of tents. It is also the only height on a 5 piece pole. The 13.5 ft kit is the one you choose when the distance demands it.
The printed graphic is the cloth, and it is shorter than the assembled height. The assembled height is the flag standing on the ground stake. Build the file to the inches in the table. A page set to 7 feet tall is taller than the 23.17 by 63.52 inch cloth, and a page set to 13.5 feet is taller than the 44.95 by 140.75 inch cloth. The black bound edge along the curve is a hem, so keep the name in the wide upper area and leave the point as a field of color.
Which Base Does a Teardrop Flag Use?
The kit includes the ground stake, and the stake is the right base for grass and soft ground. A hard floor needs a different base. These totals are the Large 11.2 ft single sided kit with the base swapped. They are not an add-on you can paste onto the 7 ft price.
A cross base, the aluminum cross for concrete, tile and indoor floors, is $278.19. A cross base with a water bag, the fillable ring that holds the cross down in wind, is $288.89. A square base, the 22 lb steel plate, is also $288.89. Those two are the same dollars and different hardware. The water bag is a ring you fill. The square base is a plate you set down.
Cross base plus ground stake is $331.69. That is the pair to order when the same flag spends Saturday on a lawn and Sunday on a hall floor. One base at a time is enough if the flag lives in one kind of place.
The photo of the orange flag on a sidewalk is the square base. The photo of the green flag in the grass is the ground stake that the kit price already includes. Match the picture to the line you are paying for.
What Do We Catch on Teardrop Flag Proofs?
The shape is the miss. A teardrop is not a rectangle that happens to be tall. The top is a curve with a black bound edge, and the bottom comes to a point. A file built as a tall rectangle puts type in the lower corners, and those corners are not on the flag. The point is too narrow for a phone number. Put the name and the mark in the wide upper half, and let the point be color.
The second miss is type on the pole sleeve. The sleeve is a black bound edge along the pole. Anything that sits in that band is hidden once the pole is in it. Keep a gap between the sleeve and the first letter.
The third is a phone number on a single sided flag at a spot where people walk around it. Print thru puts a mirror on the back. A market aisle with shoppers on both sides is the double sided case. A flag set against a tent wall, readable from the path only, can stay single sided. The Large double sided kit is $353.09. Pay it for the aisle, not out of habit.
How Fast Does a Teardrop Flag Ship?
Production is the next business day after you approve the proof. Shipping is a flat $10 to any US address, charged on the order, not inside the kit. That production day is the print day. It is not the day the carrier hands it over, so build the travel day in when the flag has to be at an event.
Send your image through AI image to print and, once you order, we make it print ready, covering size, bleed, resolution and color, for $14.99 once per item. The proof is free. Design it for me is $29.99 when you want the art built from scratch, with two revisions, and that charge is free when this item is $499 or more.
Send the file at the printed size of the height you picked. A 9 ft design on an 11.2 ft order is the wrong width, and the proof will show the gap or the crop. Approve the height, the base and both faces before the flag is printed. The hem and the point do not get a second chance after the cloth is cut.
Frequently Asked Questions
A 7 ft teardrop flag and pole kit is $203.29 single sided, with the ground stake and carry bag. The same kit double sided is $320.99. Flag only, the cloth without the pole, stake or bag, is $149.79.
The flag and pole kit is the printed flag, a fiberglass and aluminum pole set, a ground stake, and a standard soft carry bag. Flag only is the replacement graphic for a pole set you already own, so it ships without the pole, the stake, or the bag.
A Large 11.2 ft single-sided teardrop flag kit totals $278.19 with a cross base, $288.89 with a cross base and water bag, or $288.89 with a square base; the standard kit instead includes a ground stake. The same kit totals $331.69 with both a cross base and ground stake, so it can move between grass and hard floors.
The 7 ft graphic is 23.17 x 63.52 inches. The 9 ft graphic is 32.54 x 78.64 inches. The 11.2 ft graphic is 40.38 x 101.63 inches. The 13.5 ft graphic is 44.95 x 140.75 inches. Those are the printed flag, width by height, not the pole.
A Large 11.2 ft teardrop flag kit is $224.69 single sided or $353.09 double sided. Single-sided print thru makes the back a mirror of the front, while double sided adds a readable second face. Order double sided when people will walk around the flag.
A teardrop flag is produced the next business day after artwork approval and ships for a flat $10 to any US address. The $10 shipping charge is not inside the kit price, and the production day is not an arrival date.
