How Much Does a Convex Feather Flag Cost?
A Large 14 ft convex feather flag kit is $224.69, with the pole, ground stake and carry bag. The same single sided kit is $192.59 at 9 ft, $203.29 at 10.5 ft and $256.79 at 18 ft. Printed in the USA the next business day after artwork approval, it ships nationwide for a flat $10 to any US address.
The page opens on the Large 14 ft flag and pole kit. Four heights share that kit. The prices below are one flag, on the ground stake, with the standard carry bag. The double sided column is the same kit with a readable second face. Flag only is the cloth by itself.
Order it on the convex feather flag page. The cloth is 4 oz flag polyester, full color dye sublimation. The fly edge bows outward and the bottom is a curve, which is what "convex" names. It is not a straight-sided rectangle on a pole.
| Height | Printed graphic | Kit, single sided | Kit, double sided | Flag only |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 9 ft | 23.5 x 78.5 in | $192.59 | $310.29 | $149.79 |
| 10.5 ft | 24 x 104 in | $203.29 | $320.99 | $160.49 |
| 14 ft | 28 x 138 in | $224.69 | $331.69 | $171.19 |
| 18 ft | 24 x 183.5 in | $256.79 | $395.89 | $246.09 |
Read the width column before you assume the tallest flag has the most room for words. The 14 ft graphic is 28 inches wide. The 18 ft graphic is 24 inches wide. You pay more for the 18 ft kit because the flag is taller, on a 5 piece pole, not because the letters can be bigger across.
Single sided print thru reverse matches the single sided price. On the Large kit that is $224.69. Reverse is still one printed face. Choose it when the sleeve has to sit on the other edge of the artwork.

Which Convex Feather Flag Size Do I Need?
Use distance first, then the printed width.
A 9 ft flag prints at 23.5 x 78.5 inches. It stands at a sidewalk, a booth entrance, or the corner of a 10 ft tent, where the reader is close. The kit is $192.59 single sided. The pole is 4 pieces and the listed kit weight, flag plus pole set, is 1.14 lb. One short word, set large and vertical, is the design that works at this width.
A 10.5 ft flag prints at 24 x 104 inches. The width barely moves. The height does. The kit is $203.29 single sided. Choose it when the 9 ft disappears under a taller tent or a tall storefront, and the reader is still nearby. Pole sections stay at 4. Listed kit weight is 1.4 lb.
A 14 ft flag prints at 28 x 138 inches. This is the widest cloth in the set and the size the page opens on. The extra 4 inches of width, against the 10.5 ft flag, is the difference between a word that reads from the curb and a word that only reads from the sidewalk. The pole is still 4 pieces. Listed kit weight is 1.79 lb. For most streets and lot entrances, this is the size to price first.
An 18 ft flag prints at 24 x 183.5 inches. It is the flag you can see from farther down the road. It is a poor place to put a longer business name, because the cloth is narrower than the 14 ft. The pole is 5 pieces and the listed kit weight is 2.43 lb. Order the 18 ft when the problem is distance. Order the 14 ft when the problem is fitting the name.
The printed graphic is the cloth, and it is shorter than the assembled height. The assembled height is the flag standing on the ground stake. Build the file to the inches in the table. The 9 ft cloth is 23.5 by 78.5 inches. The 14 ft cloth is 28 by 138 inches. The 18 ft cloth is 24 by 183.5 inches. A page set to 9 feet is taller than the 9 ft cloth and much shorter than the 18 ft cloth. Art drawn at the 14 ft width also clips on the 18 ft flag, because that taller cloth is 24 inches wide. Lock the size before the letters go in.
What Does the Convex Flag Kit Include?
The flag and pole kit is the printed flag, a fiberglass and aluminum pole set, a ground stake, and a standard soft carry bag. The stake is an aluminum spike for grass and soft ground, and it swivels so the flag can turn in the wind. The bag is in the kit. It is not a separate line.
A heavy-duty hard case replaces that soft bag when the pole set travels hard. On the Large 14 ft single sided kit the hard case is $299.59. That figure is the Large kit. It is not a flat fee to paste onto the 9 ft price.
Flag only is $171.19 at 14 ft, $149.79 at 9 ft, $160.49 at 10.5 ft, and $246.09 at 18 ft. It ships without the pole, the stake, or the bag. Order it to replace a graphic on a pole set you already have. A first flag needs the kit, or you have paid for cloth with nothing to plant.
The ground stake in the studio photo and in the market photo is the base inside the kit price. The festival photo, with a cross base and a blue water bag on the grass, is a different line. Those dollars are below.
Which Base Should a Convex Flag Stand On?
The kit's base is the ground stake. Hard surfaces need a base that sits on the floor instead of a spike in the dirt. These totals are the Large 14 ft single sided kit with the base changed. Do not add them in your head to a different height.
A cross base, the aluminum cross for concrete, tile and indoor floors, is $267.49. A square base, the 22 lb steel plate, is $278.19. A cross base with a water bag, the fillable ring for wind on a hard surface, is $288.89. Cross base plus the ground stake, so one flag can move between a lawn and a floor, is $320.99.
If the flag lives in grass, the stake in the kit is the whole base story and the kit price is the price. If it lives on a sidewalk or inside a hall, price the Large kit with the base you will actually use. A water bag shipped to a job that is all grass is weight you did not need. A stake shipped to a concrete plaza will not hold the flag.
What Do We Catch on Convex Flag Proofs?
The curved hem is the one we mark up most. The bottom of a convex flag is a sewn curve, and the fly edge bows out. A rectangular layout puts a phone number or a rule in a corner the curve cuts away. Build the art inside the flag shape. Keep type in the tall middle of the cloth, clear of the curve and clear of the black sleeve along the pole.
The second catch is a file made at the 14 ft width and dropped on an 18 ft order. Twenty-eight inches of art does not fit a 24 inch cloth. The letters crop, or we have to shrink them until the tall flag looks empty. Build the file to the printed size of the height you are buying: 23.5 x 78.5, 24 x 104, 28 x 138, or 24 x 183.5 inches.
The third is the mirror back. Single sided print thru shows the art through the cloth, reversed. A vertical word can survive that better than a phone number, and even a word is backwards. A flag on a corner, with traffic on two sides, wants the double sided kit. A flag in front of one wall, readable from one path, can stay single sided at the kit price in the table.
How Fast Does a Convex Feather Flag Ship?
Production is the next business day after you approve the proof. Shipping is a flat $10 to any US address, on the order, not inside the kit. Leave carrier time if the flag has to be planted for an opening or a market morning. The production day is the day we print it.
Send your image through AI image to print and, once you order, we prep size, bleed, resolution and color for $14.99 once per item. The proof is free. Design it for me is $29.99 if you want the layout built, with two revisions, and that charge is free when this item is $499 or more.
Approve the height, the base and the graphic on the proof. The curve is cut when the flag is made. A number we both missed in the hem does not move later.
