How Much Do 24 x 24 Square Yard Signs Cost?
A 24 x 24 inch 4 mm coroplast square yard sign is $64.19 single sided, and two signs are $74.89, about $37.45 each. Five signs are $117.69, about $23.54 each. Wire H-stakes are a separate add-on at $3.00 each. Printed in the USA the next business day after proof approval and shipped nationwide, flat $10 shipping to any US address.
The price covers one 4 mm coroplast panel, UV printed in full color on one face, cut to 24 x 24 inches. Stakes are not in it. The square is the only one of our four yard sign sizes that is not a rectangle, and it is sold on a four-rung quantity ladder: one, two, three or five signs.
Every figure in the table is what the 24 x 24 square yard sign page charges today for that quantity. The per-sign column is the total divided by the count, rounded to the cent, so you can compare it with a quote written per sign.
| Quantity | Single sided | About per sign | Double sided | About per sign | Single sided with one standard stake per sign |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 sign | $64.19 | $64.19 | $74.89 | $74.89 | $67.19 |
| 2 signs | $74.89 | $37.45 | $96.29 | $48.15 | $80.89 |
| 3 signs | $106.99 | $35.66 | $128.39 | $42.80 | $115.99 |
| 5 signs | $117.69 | $23.54 | $139.09 | $27.82 | $132.69 |
Shipping is a flat $10 per order to any US address and is not folded into any figure above. Send any image, PDF or logo through AI image to print and we make it print ready for $14.99 once per item, and a free digital proof comes with every order. Design it for me is +$29.99 with two revisions, and it is free when the item is $499 or more.
The ladder is short, and the fifth sign is the one to notice. Three signs are $106.99 and five are $117.69, so the step from three to five is small next to the step from one to three. If you have three placements and might want a spare, five is the better buy.

What Does a Double-Sided 24 x 24 Square Yard Sign Cost?
A double-sided square yard sign is $74.89 for one, $96.29 for two, $128.39 for three and $139.09 for five. The second face is printed on the same panel, so the difference is ink and press time, not a second sheet of plastic.
A square sign is often placed at a corner or beside a walkway, where people pass it from both directions, and that is the case for double sided. A sign that backs onto a fence, a wall or a hedge only ever shows one face, and single sided is the honest choice there. Five square signs with a standard stake each are $132.69 single sided and $154.09 double sided, so the second face costs about the same as the stakes do across a five-sign order.
Sides and quantity both move the total, and the product page updates the figure as you change either one. Decide the sides placement by placement before you choose the rung.
How Much Are Stakes for a 24 x 24 Square Yard Sign?
A standard wire H-stake is $3.00 each and is not in the sign price. On the product page the H-Stakes row defaults to no stakes; pick the standard grade and the count fills with one per sign, which you can change to any number you need.
Heavy-duty stakes are offered from 10 signs, and this page sells 1, 2, 3 or 5 signs, so they are not on this page. The standard stake is the one on offer, and it is the right stake for a 24 x 24 panel on a lawn. One sign with its stake is $67.19, two with two are $80.89, three with three are $115.99, and five with five are $132.69.
The stake legs slide into the vertical flutes from the bottom edge and the sign sits on the crossbar. Stakes are priced per stake, so they add the same amount to a double-sided order as to a single-sided one. If you already own stakes, leave the row on no stakes and the line stays signs only.
What Is a 24 x 24 Square Yard Sign For?
A 24 x 24 square yard sign is for a logo-first message: a round, shield or stacked mark that would leave empty corners on a rectangle fills a square to the edge. It gives a logo more room than a standard rectangular sign without going as wide as a 36 x 24 sign, which is why it is the size brand-led businesses pick for a lawn or a storefront strip.
The sample festival brand Harvestglen Fall Festival prints its pumpkin mark, the event name and THIS SATURDAY on one square panel and stakes three of them along the road to the event. The sample pool-service brand Brightwater Pool Service puts a round logo in the top two thirds and a phone number across the bottom, and the same art works as a window cling and a truck decal because it is already square.
The rule of thumb for reading distance is one inch of capital letter height for every ten feet. A 24 inch square panel carries a 20 inch logo, or 5 inch capitals on two lines, and reads from about 50 feet. It is a yard, entrance and event sign, not a highway sign.
How Does a 24 x 24 Square Sign Compare With an 18 x 24 Sign?
An 18 x 24 standard yard sign is $53.49 for one and the 24 x 24 square is $64.19, and the square has a third more printed area and a shape that suits a logo better; the standard sign suits a name and a line of text and has a nine-rung ladder to 100 where the square stops at five.
What Bleed and Safe Area Does a 24 x 24 Square Yard Sign Need?
Build the file at 24.25 x 24.25 inches, which is the 24 x 24 inch trim plus 0.125 inch of bleed on every side, and keep all text and logos inside a 23 x 23 inch safe area, 0.5 inch in from the cut line. Any background color or photo must run out to the full 24.25 x 24.25 inch edge.
Bleed exists because coroplast is cut in a stack and a stack moves a little. A background that stops exactly at the trim shows a white sliver when the cut lands a sixteenth of an inch inside the line. A background that runs to the bleed line hides the same shift completely. The safe area protects the other direction: text 0.5 inch inside the trim stays whole on every sign in the run.
Keep the bottom 2 inches clear of anything important, because that band is where the stake legs enter the flutes and where grass hides the edge. The sign reads well at 150 dpi, which is 3600 x 3600 pixels at trim; a vector logo or a PDF built at size is the clean send, and a logo lifted from a website at 300 pixels wide is not.
What We See on Proofs for Square Signs
The thing we catch most on square signs is a rectangular file. A customer has a standard rectangular sign design, uploads it for the square, and the layout either arrives stretched to fit or sits in the middle with white bands top and bottom. Neither is what they wanted. We hold the proof, ask for the layout to be rebuilt at 24.25 x 24.25 inches, or offer to do it with Design it for me, and the square version almost always ends up with a bigger logo than the rectangle had.
The second is a round logo touching the edges. On a square panel a circle wants to fill the frame, and a designer will push it right out to the trim. Any circle that touches the cut line will be clipped on one side on some signs in the run. We pull it in to the 23 x 23 inch safe area on the proof and send it back for a look.
The third is an orientation note. A square has no landscape or portrait, but it does have a top, and the flutes must run vertically for the stake. We check that the art is oriented with the flutes before it prints.

Frequently Asked Questions
One 24 x 24 inch square yard sign on 4 mm coroplast is $64.19 single sided and $74.89 double sided. A standard wire H-stake is $3.00 more, so one single-sided sign with its stake is $67.19. Shipping is a flat $10 to any US address, and production is the next business day after proof approval.
Five 24 x 24 inch square yard signs are $117.69 single sided, about $23.54 a sign, or $139.09 double sided, about $27.82 a sign. Five standard wire H-stakes bring the single-sided order to $132.69 and the double-sided order to $154.09. Five is the largest rung on the square sign page.
No. The sign price is for the sign alone. A standard wire H-stake is a $3.00 add-on, one per sign or any count you choose. Heavy-duty stakes are offered from 10 signs, and this page sells 1, 2, 3 or 5 signs, so they are not on this page; the standard stake is the one offered here.
This page sells 1, 2, 3 or 5 square signs, and the total updates on the page for each one. Five is the largest rung and the lowest price per sign, about $23.54 single sided, and three is $106.99 against $117.69 for five, so a three-sign order with a spare in mind is better placed at five.
Send a 24.25 x 24.25 inch file, which is the 24 x 24 inch trim plus 0.125 inch of bleed on all four sides. Keep text and logos inside a 23 x 23 inch safe area, 0.5 inch in from the cut, and leave the bottom 2 inches clear of anything important. A vector file or a PDF at 150 dpi or more prints cleanly.
A square sign is better for a logo-first layout: a round, shield or stacked mark fills a 24 x 24 inch panel without the empty corners it leaves on a rectangle. A rectangular sign is better for a long name or a line of text. The square gives a logo more room than a standard rectangular sign without going as wide as a 36 x 24 sign.
