How it works
From a Canva design to a print in four steps
Build it at the print size
In Canva, start a custom size in inches that matches the product you will order, for example 72 x 36 in for a 6 x 3 ft banner. Same proportions also work; we fit the file to the exact print size.
Download the file
Download a PDF Print file with crop marks and bleed, or a PNG at the largest size Canva offers. We take PDF, AI, PSD, EPS, JPG, PNG, SVG, TIFF, WEBP or HEIC, one file per product.
Pick the product and the ChatGPT card
Set the size and options, then at the artwork step pick "Have a ChatGPT image or mockup?". Upload the file there, or use "Paste a Canva, Google Drive or Dropbox link". You can also send it after checkout.
Approve the proof, then it prints
For $14.99 per item we fit it to the exact print size with bleed, sharpen the lettering and match the colors for ink. A free proof follows your order, and nothing prints until you approve it.
Export settings
The Canva settings that print best
Download a PDF Print file with crop marks and bleed, built at the finished size in inches. These settings give us the cleanest start; we still fit every file to the exact print size before your proof.
- Size
- A custom size in inches equal to the finished print, or the same proportions. A 6 x 3 ft banner is 72 x 36 in.
- Bleed
- Turn on print bleed in Canva and run the background past the edge. Each product page lists its exact bleed and safe area under the print specs.
- File type
- PDF Print with crop marks and bleed. A PNG at the largest size also works.
- Resolution
- 150 dpi minimum at full print size, 300 dpi ideal, or vector art. Use the largest photos you have.
- Color
- The print spec is CMYK. If your download offers a CMYK option, pick it; if not, we match the colors for ink when we make the file print ready.
- Text and logos
- Keep every word and logo inside the safe area, away from the trimmed edge.
What it costs

A finished Canva PDF still goes through the ChatGPT card, because the print-ready card takes no files today. The card says it plainly: “We are not accepting print-ready files right now. Choose AI image to print, Design it for me, or send your file after checkout.”
