What pole count and price goes with each feather flag height?
Join the pole, slide the sleeve on, and seat the base that matches the ground. A Large 14 ft single-sided Feather Angled Flag with pole and ground stake from Inline Graphics is $224.69. It prints the next business day after proof approval, with flat $10 shipping to any US address.
Small, Medium, and Large kits use four pole sections. The 18 ft pole is the one that ships as five sections. Single-sided Flag + Pole prices run from $203.29 at 9 ft to $267.49 at 18 ft, and each of those kits includes the ground stake and a soft carry bag.
The size name is the assembled height of the flag on its pole, standing on the ground stake. It is the full kit height. The feather flag size guide is where you pick 9 ft, 10.5 ft, 14 ft, or 18 ft for a door, a lot, or a road. This page is how the pieces go together once that height is ordered.
Prices below are Flag + Pole with the included ground stake. Single sided is the print-through graphic. Double sided is the separate graphic choice at that height.
| Flag + Pole kit: height, graphic, pole sections | Price |
|---|---|
| Small 9 ft, single sided, four sections | $203.29 |
| Small 9 ft, double sided, four sections | $320.99 |
| Medium 10.5 ft, single sided, four sections | $213.99 |
| Medium 10.5 ft, double sided, four sections | $342.39 |
| Large 14 ft, single sided, four sections | $224.69 |
| Large 14 ft, double sided, four sections | $353.09 |
| X-Large 18 ft, single sided, five sections | $267.49 |
| X-Large 18 ft, double sided, five sections | $417.29 |
The pole set is fiberglass and aluminum. The cloth is 4 oz flag polyester, full color dye sub. Flag Only is a replacement graphic for a pole kit you already own. It ships without the pole, the stake, and the bag. The table is the complete kit. A heavy-duty hard case is an upgrade on the product page for crush-resistant travel. The checkout list used here prices the flag and the bases, so this guide does not quote the case.
Single sided print-through shows on both faces, and the back reads as a mirror. Print Thru Reverse is a third graphic choice at the same price as single sided; it flips the layout so the flag faces the other direction. Double sided is the higher price in the table, chosen when the words must read correctly from both sides.

How do you join the pole and slide the sleeve on?
Seat every pole joint fully, slide the flag's sleeve over the assembled pole, fasten the bottom of the flag, then stand the pole on its base. Six actions, in this order:
- Unpack the kit. Lay out the flag, the pole sections, the base, and the soft carry bag.
- Set the base. Push the ground stake straight into grass or soft soil, or set a cross base or square base flat on a hard surface.
- Join the pole. Connect the sections in order and seat each joint fully.
- Sleeve the flag. Slide the sleeve over the assembled pole so the cloth runs straight and the angled cut is at the bottom.
- Fasten the bottom. Clip the elastic band that comes in the kit from the lower corner of the flag onto the pole, so the cloth hangs taut.
- Stand it up. Seat the bottom of the pole on the base.
On step 3, a joint that is only partly seated is the joint that folds once the cloth is up. Push each section until the fit is solid, then move to the next. Small, Medium, and Large poles are four sections. The 18 ft pole is five. Count them against the height you ordered before the sleeve hides them. An 18 ft graphic on a four-section pole is the wrong pair. The cloth and the pole are sold as one height.
On step 4, work the sleeve along the pole without twisting the cloth into a spiral. The angled cut belongs at the bottom. That cut is what makes this flag the angled feather. If the hem ends up at the top, take the sleeve off and start again. Forcing a twist out after the pole is in the base pulls on the print.
On step 5, the elastic band is the tension. It ships in the kit, and it clips onto the pole below the sleeve so the lower edge of the flag is pulled down and in. The sleeve should sit fully on the pole and the angled hem should hang even before you clip it. A band that is clipped too high leaves the bottom loose and flapping; clip it where the cloth is snug. Do not swap the band for a knot or a zip tie, which can tear the hem.
On step 6, the pole sits on the base you already set in step 2. If the sleeve is bunched at the top, slide it along the pole before you walk away. The base prices for a Large 14 ft kit are in the next section.
An 18 ft pole is a long piece to sleeve. The page does not list a required crew. A second person is a sensible precaution on the taller kits, especially the 18 ft X-Large, to keep the upper sections straight while the sleeve goes on.
Which base do you fit, and what does it add to a Large 14 ft flag?
A cross base takes the Large 14 ft single-sided Flag + Pole kit from the included ground stake at $224.69 to $278.19. The other bases are choices on the same feather angled flag page. These figures are the whole kit with that base, before the flat $10 shipping.
| Base on a Large 14 ft single-sided kit, and where it goes | Price |
|---|---|
| Ground stake: grass or soft soil, aluminum spike | $224.69 |
| Cross base: concrete, tile or an indoor floor | $278.19 |
| Cross base + water bag: same cross with a fillable water ring | $288.89 |
| Square base: 22 lb steel plate on a hard surface | $288.89 |
| Cross base + ground stake: both mounts in one order | $331.69 |
Fit the ground stake by pushing the aluminum spike into grass or soft soil until it is seated, then set the pole in it. The spike is built to swivel so the flag can turn. Fit the cross base by laying the aluminum cross flat on concrete, tile, or an indoor floor, then seating the pole. Fit the water bag by placing the fillable ring on that cross and filling it before you seat the pole. The page does not publish a fill volume, so fill the ring it gives you and set it flat. Fit the square base by setting the 22 lb steel plate flat, then seating the pole. The cross base plus ground stake order is both mounts, so you use the spike on soil and the cross on a hard floor with the same flag.
The cross base with the water bag and the square base are the same $288.89 on this Large single-sided kit. They are different hardware: a ring you fill, or a 22 lb plate. Pick the one you can carry and store.
Wind, anchoring limits, and when the flag should come down are in how to secure feather flags. Use that guide for the weather decision. Use this one to get the sections, the sleeve, and the base physically together. Other flag shapes, if a teardrop or a rectangle fits the message better, are on the custom flags hub.
How do you take a feather flag down and store it?
Lift the pole out of the base, slide the sleeve off, separate the sections, and pack them in the soft carry bag. Five actions.
- Lift the pole straight up out of the base.
- Slide the sleeve off the pole without twisting the print.
- Pull the pole sections apart at the joints.
- Empty a water bag if you used one, before it rides in a vehicle.
- Let the cloth dry, roll it, and pack the sections and the stake in the carry bag.
Keep the sections together so the next assembly starts with the right count, four or five. A missing section is the mistake you find on site. The cloth rolls more cleanly when it is dry. The product page does not publish a wash cycle. Rolling a dry flag into the included bag is the storage the kit describes. If you want the crush-resistant box, that is the hard-case upgrade on the product page, priced there.
When the cloth has faded and the pole is still straight, reorder Flag Only at the same height. A 14 ft graphic is not a spare for a 9 ft pole. Match the height on the size guide before you reorder the cloth alone.
What mistakes should you avoid while assembling?
A common mistake to avoid is sleeving the pole before every joint is fully seated. The cloth hides a loose joint, and the loose joint is what folds once the flag is up. Seat them on the ground, where you can see each connection, then slide the sleeve.
A second mistake is a twisted sleeve. The print spirals around the pole and the angled hem sits crooked. Take it off and slide it on straight. Smoothing a twist in place pulls the dye-sub print.
A third is bunching at the top. If the sleeve stops short, the upper cloth collapses on itself and the pole tip has no fabric over it. Slide until the sleeve is distributed along the full pole, then smooth the angled bottom.
A fourth is arriving with the wrong base for the ground. The stake is in every Flag + Pole box because it is the grass mount. Concrete, tile, and indoor floors use the cross, the cross with the water ring, or the 22 lb plate, chosen on the order. The securing guide covers what happens in wind if the stake is the only mount on a hard surface. Choose the base before you leave, using the table above, so assembly on site is seating the pole in hardware you already have.
How should the file and the production day be handled?
There is no production setup fee, and a file or image you already have goes through AI image to print for $14.99 per item. Design it for me is +$29.99 with two revisions, and it is free when the item is $499 or more. Every flag price in the tables on this page is under $499, so the design add-on is $29.99 on these kits.
The free digital proof is sent after the order, before printing. Check the height, the graphic choice (print-through or double sided), and the base. A mirrored back is normal on single-sided print-through. If the words must read correctly from both sides, choose double sided. Print Thru Reverse flips the layout so the flag faces the other direction; it does not make both faces read correctly.
Production is the next business day after approval. Shipping is a flat $10 to any US address. Add transit after that day. Printed in the USA, then shipped nationwide.
